Relationships

"An old soul is someone who understands the value in relationships. Sharing their lives with that other person is what old souls do best. They are able to connect on so many levels. Old souls share habits, tastes in music, passions for love and have all been through their fair share of tribulation.
In a relationship an old soul only needs one thing, that thing is love. The love shared and exchanged between the two is not something ordinary. The love that brings these two people together is nothing short of perfect. It’s a love that has waited years to find someone to understand them. It’s a love that has been crushed and broken at the will of others. It’s a love that has lost many battles, but will not give up on finding that one person who makes it all worthwhile. It’s a love that when found is genuine and will last a lifetime.

Old souls yearn for the morals and values of yesteryear. We don’t belong in this society where throwing a relationship away is easier than fixing it. Old souls are not of this time and this is one of the few things that make us frustrated. Others look at us as relics, minds in a century long past and bodies in another. We thrive on our own originality and seek to share it with others just like us. Old souls want their other half to be with on a cold winters eve or soft summer night. To spend time just looking into each others’ eyes, not in thought but rather consumed in simple, blissful love."
